Online Marketing Services

If you already have a website it is imperative you use the right mix of online marketing to reach out to your target audience. I am happy to provide consultation on these different services, and will also conduct the following online marketing techniques for you.

Mailing Lists

I can set up a form on your website which will capture customer email addresses and store them on a datbase. Posessing a list of email addresses allows you to market your website, and gain repeat business.

Email Newsletters

Email marketing is a form of direct marketing which uses electronic mail as a means of communicating commercial or fundraising messages to an audience. In its broadest sense, every email sent to a potential or current customer could be considered email marketing. However, the term is usually used to refer to:

  • Sending emails with the purpose of enhancing the relationship of a merchant with its current or old customers and to encourage customer loyalty and repeat business.
  • Sending emails with the purpose of acquiring new customers or convincing old customers to buy something immediately.
  • Adding advertisements in emails sent by other companies to their customers.

I can create html email newsletters for you, and broadcast them to your customer base. If you prefer to send your own and have basic html skills I can set you up to broacast your own material.

Search Engine Optimisation

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" search results for targeted keywords. Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the search results or the higher it "ranks", the more searchers will visit that site. SEO can also target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines. If you already have a website which does not feature highly in the major search engines I can analyse your website and provide recommendations on how it can be improved. Any new websites I build for you will be fully search engine optimised.

Banner Adverts

Display advertising is a type of advertising that contains graphic information such as logos, photographs or other pictures, location maps, and similar items. In periodicals it can appear on the same page with general editorial content; as opposed to classified advertising, which generally appears in a distinct section and was traditionally text-only in a limited selection of typefaces. Display advertising uses static and animated images in standard or non-standard sizes called web banners as well as interactive media that might include audio and video elements. I can help you with the design, tone and message of your banner adverts, and provide advice on the best advertising networks to use.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is when a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate's marketing efforts. Affiliate marketing is also the name of the industry where a number of different types of companies and individuals are performing this form of internet marketing, including affiliate networks, affiliate management companies and in-house affiliate managers, specialized 3rd party vendors, and various types of affiliates/publishers who promote the products and services of their partners. It is a form of online marketing which is frequently overlooked by advertisers. While search engines, e-mail and RSS capture much of the attention of online retailers, affiliate marketing carries a much lower profile. Still, affiliates continue to play a significant role in e-retailers' marketing strategies. I can provide advice on the type of offers suitable for your affiliates, and produce artwork and text for graphics and banners.

Pay Per Click Advertising

Pay per click (PPC) is an advertising model used on search engines, advertising networks, and content websites/blogs, where advertisers only pay when a user actually clicks on an ad to visit the advertiser's website. Advertisers bid on keywords they predict their target market will use as search terms when they are looking for a product or service. When a user types a keyword query matching the advertiser's keyword list, or views a page with relevant content, the advertiser's ad may be shown. These ads are called a "Sponsored link" or "sponsored ads" and appear next to or above the "natural" or organic results on search engine results pages, or anywhere a webmaster/blogger chooses on a content page. I can assist you with the creation of your pay per click campaign, in terms of selecting the right words to be using and the creative copy behind the advert.
